Which is more beneficial?

There are so many professional courses in the market that one gets confused in choosing one…but MBA and MCA both have found solid top places among others..

Surely these two courses can make you think many a times before you go for a professional course. There are different advantages of one over the other which need to be considered strictly before you adopt one.

First of all, let’s consider MCA. Its a technical course which gives a deep study of programming languages, computer applications and architecture. Surely a course geek would love to go after.

Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is a three-year (or five "regular" + one “training" =six semester) professional Master's Degree in Computer science. The course is designed to meet the growing demand for qualified professionals in the field of Information Technology. It focuses on providing a sound theoretical background as well as good practical exposure to students in the IT field. It is intended to provide a modern, industry oriented education in applied computer science. It aims at producing trained professionals.

It covers various aspects of computational theory, programming, algorithm design and optimization, network and database management, mobile technologies, electronics, mathematics, probability, statistics, accounting, finance, etc.

There is no more fun than writing big codes, playing with applications...And the most important thing is u r in AC room all day..:)

I would say MCA is the best in the industry today. With so many software companies and loads of opportunities, the future is great for MCA students. Well Software / IT industry is on a low and you have lesser opportunities now in this field. Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Gurgaon, Noida are some of the cities best for software development. Presently MCA course is one of the best professional courses and is recognized in most of the companies. But only MCA degree wont be enough , master yourself in one of the popular languages / platforms like Java, C++, .Net, C,SQL server etc. Java and .Net are extensively used in companies (MNCs). Both are used for Product development as well as web applications. After completion of your course, register yourself with detailed resume in popular job sites like Naukri, Mosnter or Timesjob.

Now comes our managers favorite MBA...this is a course which I think is more practical in giving presentations, seminars, speeches etc. Talking effectively....oops...I mean having a good personality is an association with the MBA..it comes naturally in our mind once we think about MBA...but off course there are much more qualities in this course than we mind about.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a "Master's degree" in "Business administration", which attracts people from a wide range of academic disciplines. The MBA designation originated in the USA, emerging from the late 19th century as the country and companies sought out scientific approaches to management. The MBA degree has since achieved worldwide recognition. MBA programs expose students to a variety of subjects, including economics, organizational behaviour, marketing, accounting, finance, strategy, operations management, international business, information technology management, supply chain management, and project management. Students traditionally study a wide breadth of courses in the program's first year, and then pursue a specialized curriculum in the second year. Full-time students typically seek an internship during the interim.

the list for both is very heavy and u can get more information on internet( specially WIKIPEDIA), but its upto you, what you think is the best for you...
